About CrediQ

CrediQ offers innovative Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) and Hire Purchase solutions, partnering with leading retailers across sectors such as eyewear, furniture, and appliances to provide consumers with flexible financing options. As we continue to expand our footprint, we remain committed to delivering a seamless and supportive financial experience while making accurate, fast, and responsible credit decisions that support both our business growth and our customers’ financial well-being. This commitment extends throughout the customer lifecycle, including how we manage customer accounts and delinquency, ensuring a balanced approach that promotes financial accessibility and responsible lending.

Role Overview

The Revenue Manager is a senior, relationship-driven growth leader responsible for maximizing credit sales volume, portfolio health, and partnership satisfaction across all CrediQ merchant accounts. Serving as the primary strategic interface between ECL/CrediQ and merchant management, this role requires a sophisticated blend of key account management, operational leadership, and brand ambassadorship. The ideal candidate possesses the maturity and high emotional intelligence (EQ) necessary to navigate diverse merchant ownership styles, from corporate executives to independent retail owners. They will oversee everything from strategic sales initiatives and credit performance feedback to hands-on store onboarding, staff training, and point-of-sale customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Relationship & Merchant Management

  • Owner & Executive Relations: Act as the primary, senior-level point of contact for merchant owners and executives, successfully managing diverse leadership styles and building long-term, high-trust partnerships.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze store-level and regional sales data to provide merchant management with actionable feedback, identifying opportunities for growth, tailored credit offers, and mutual revenue expansion.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the escalation point for merchant grievances, proactively addressing operational, technical, or financial bottlenecks to ensure seamless business continuity.

Merchant Onboarding & Go-To-Market Execution

  • Onboarding Management: Lead the end-to-end launch of new merchant partners, ensuring a fast, frictionless integration with the CrediQ ecosystem.
  • Store Readiness & Compliance: Oversee the deployment of store messaging, point-of-sale (POS) materials, posters, and digital assets, ensuring prominent brand visibility and compliance with marketing standards.
  • Training Programs: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for merchant front-line staff and store managers, empowering them to effectively pitch, explain, and utilize CrediQ’s Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and Hire Purchase options.

Sales Initiatives & Portfolio Growth

  • Campaign Collaboration: Design and execute collaborative, co-marketing campaigns and credit promotions tailored to specific retail sectors (e.g., eyewear, electronics, appliances, furniture).
  • In-Store Engagement: Regularly visit merchant locations to observe customer interactions, evaluate the effectiveness of the credit solutions, and step in to handle high-value or complex customer interactions directly.
  • Feedback Loop: Synthesize field insights from store floors to assist ECL leadership in refining credit scoring models, promotional structures, and overall product market fit.

Brand Ambassadorship

  • Represent ECL and CrediQ as the visible, professional "face" of the brand across all partner networks and retail environments.
  • Champion a culture of exceptional service, ethical lending, and collaborative growth at every touchpoint.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Account Management, Business Development, Retail Relationship Management, or Sales Leadership—ideally within financial services, consumer credit, retail management, or fintech.
  • Relationship Management: Proven track record of managing high-stakes corporate partnerships and interacting comfortably with business owners, senior executives, and front-line retail staff.
  • Financial & Analytical Literacy: Strong ability to interpret sales reports, portfolio performance metrics, and consumer credit trends to drive data-backed business decisions.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to adapt communication styles seamlessly based on the stakeholder.
  • Operational Execution: Hands-on experience coordinating retail rollouts, training programs, and visual merchandising/POS materials.
  • Mobility: Must possess a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license, with the flexibility to travel frequently to various merchant locations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Portfolio Growth: Growth in active consumer financing volume (loan originations) across assigned merchant accounts.
  • Merchant Retention & Satisfaction: Account retention rates and qualitative partner feedback regarding relationship health.
  • Time-to-Volume (Onboarding): Efficiency and speed of onboarding new merchants from contract signature to first loan transaction.
  • Store Utilization: Percentage of trained merchant store staff actively submitting and closing financing applications via CrediQ.
